Description

The Sportsman Ultra Light .338 caliber is a user-serviceable silencer with full-size performance. It is magnum-rated yet weighs a flyweight 12.7 ounces. At half the cost of heavier titanium silencers, the Sportsman Ultra Light is hard to beat. Billet-machined entirely from heat-treated 7075 aluminum, this suppressor is light enough to carry in the field all week long but durable enough to withstand the power of the .338 Lapua Magnum. By leveraging the low-mass properties of 7075 aluminum, we created a suppressor with durability comparable to titanium models while achieving an incredible weight savings using a hybrid baffle stack.

The hybrid baffle stack consists of two 17-4 stainless heat-treated blast baffles, followed by 7075 anodized aluminum baffles to keep the suppressor both lightweight and durable. The Ultra Light series now features patented H.E.D.P. baffles that provide high-performance sound reduction. In addition to the new baffles, the stack incorporates RTZ (Return to Zero) geometry, allowing users to easily align and lock in the baffle stack to maintain a repeatable zero even after disassembly.

The Ultra Light series includes an internal 17-4 stainless steel mounting system for the taper mount system, providing a rigid, easy, and repeatable attachment method while allowing users to choose their preferred muzzle device. A muzzle device is included, offering a compact and lightweight attachment, though direct-thread adapters are also available for those who prefer a direct-thread configuration.
